Lea Bridge East is the flagship of the Inner London Group.
Completed in June 2003 at a cost of £5 million, the part new-build, part refurbished building, is a prime example of the standard and benchmark that the Inner London Group prides itself on.
Fronting onto a busy main road, Lea Bridge East offers a modern façade complemented by the retention of original listed features. Inside the building is the visionary evidence of a vibrantly designed interior which gives way to an imaginatively landscaped courtyard, above which are integrated roof gardens.
All 67 en-suite bedrooms are colour co-ordinated to represent double or single status. Every en-suite shower-room is fully equipped with a toilet, hand basin and shower unit. The bathrooms use the energy efficient Eco-logic water management system, which operates automatically and manages wastage and flood risk. Each room, which is accessed by a smart card entry system, also has a fridge, a television and custom made furnishings. There are 6 disabled bedrooms.
Each kitchen, of which there are 20, contains fully fitted stainless steel equipment, as well as breakfast bars and stools.
Each additional guest bathroom, of which there are 4, contains modern bathroom suites and stainless steel fittings.
The ground floor computer room facility contains six state of the art computers with flat screen monitors, whilst the resident’s lounge is complimented by comfortable interior designed furnishings centred around a plasma screen television.
Finally on the ground floor is the resident’s dining room, complete with the very latest cashless card operated vending system, as well as the conference/ lecture facility with it’s leather and oak furnishings.
The entire building is monitored from reception by means of 42 state of the art CCTV cameras, and the building has a fully trained, full time management structure of 13 staff, with a 24/7 operational system in place.
The building is low maintenance focused, and utilises all possible energy saving features, including an Eco water management system that delivers measured amounts of water to every room in the building at the touch of a button.
Lea Bridge East is fully automated, and is equipped with the latest computerised heating and ventilation management systems.
